Job Description:
A company is looking for a Mental Health Therapist (IA License)
to provide virtual mental health care to K-12 students.
Key Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based virtual mental health counseling and
therapeutic interventions to K-12 students
Conduct initial mental health intake assessments, create treatment
plans, and perform ongoing assessments of student progress
Collaborate with the care management team and ensure timely
documentation in compliance with established guidelines
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Licensed without restrictions as a mental health therapist in Iowa
and the state of residence
Minimum of 1 year experience in a school-based setting or with
school-aged children
Ability to obtain an acceptable Fingerprint (FBI) Criminal
Background check upon hire
Strong technological skills and experience with telehealth
preferred
Bilingual proficiency in languages such as Spanish, Mandarin, or
others is highly desirable
