We would love for you to become a member of our team!Job SummaryThe Flex (Mobile) Radiologic Technologist (RT) works with Medical Providers and/or a Medical Assistants with the examination and treatment of GoHealth Urgent Care patients. This role is responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis for our GoHealth Urgent Care patients. This role is responsible for performing and analyzing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers. Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of GoHealth Urgent Care Centers. In a collaborative manner, the Radiologic Technologist will provide support to Medical Providers, Medical Assistants and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.The Flex RT completes all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner while living our vision and mission to become the urgent care partner of choice by re-defining value and access to quality care through: an effortless experience, a culture of care, and seamlessly integrating with our partners and communities. The Flex RT works across sites in close proximity to one another. As patient care needs arise requiring X-ray, the Flex RT travels from to the respective site to render care. The travel nature of this role enables to Flex RT to be exposed to a variety of urgent care settings and maximizes quantity of X-Rays an RT performs.Job DescriptionResponsible for x-ray services as neededo Under the direction of the clinical provider, perform x-ray services for patients by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.o Ensure patients are positioned correctly on or in front of equipment and protected during use.o Will need to push patient in a wheelchairPatient Registrationo Conduct patient registration, which includes securing required paperwork and insurance documentation, and verification of insurance and patient eligibility.o Process co-pays and schedule patient appointments for assigned centero Coordinate provider referrals to assigned Specialisto Answer patient questions regarding their care and keep them informed of their statusPatient Preparation and Roomingo Inform technical staff of patient flow.o Prepare patients for examination, which includes conducting interviews to verify patient information, record medical history; confirm purpose of visit;o Perform preliminary physical test (blood pressure, weight, temperature, etc.) for vital signs and escalate critical cases to provider as needed.o Conduct point of care testing as needed (i.e., flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG); and provide patient information to provider.Stockingo Responsible for stocking supplies and maintenance of exam rooms, front desk, and reception area; ensure providers have medical supplies neededo Responsible for completing order sheets to maintain supply inventory levels; regularly check expiration dates on supplies.Administrativeo Responsible for maintenance of medical records and scanning charts to patient files.o Answer phone calls, collect and sort daily incoming and outgoing postal correspondenceo Ensure reception is well maintainedo Conduct courtesy call-backs for patient follow-up on careo Perform opening and closing duties, which includes cashing out, end-of-day communication, and securing the building.o Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment; maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed.Requirements: - - - - - - - - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required - - - - - - - - Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required. - - - - - - - - Basic Life Support (BLS) required. - - - - - - - - Valid State Driver's License - - - - - - - - Must pass MVR background check#INDCS
