Pierro, Connor & Strauss, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trust and Estate Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our trust and estate litigation attorneys, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of NYS Surrogate's Court procedures, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Please note this is an in-office position, not remote or hybrid.Compensation:$55,000 - $75,000 yearlyResponsibilities:

• Prepare and file petitions, motions, and related court forms.
• Coordinate communication with courts, clients, and other relevant parties.
• Conduct legal research on laws, regulations, and case precedents.
• Analyze complex legal issues related to trust and estate administration and guardianship procedures, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and other estate planning instruments.
• Prepare correspondence, affidavits, and other legal documents as needed.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on the status of their matter.
• Address client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to streamline workflow and ensure efficient case management.Qualifications:Education and Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal; experience in trust and estates and guardianship is a plus.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing complex litigation cases.Skills:
      • Proficient in legal research, document drafting, and case management.
      • Strong knowledge of probate laws and procedures.
      • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
      • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Technology:
        • Proficient in legal case management software, preferably Clio and/or NetDocuments.
        • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.About Company
