Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coder/Abstractor Non-Certified.
Key Responsibilities
Train to apply appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes to
medical records
Assist in data retrieval, analysis, and claims processing
Work under direct supervision to ensure coding accuracy and
compliance
Required Qualifications
Minimum one to three years' experience in coding, billing, and
reimbursement activities
Currently enrolled in an accredited AHIMA program or approved
coding educational program
Examples of relevant programs include Health Information Management
(HIM) such as RHIA or RHIT
Successful completion of AHIMA online coding education resulting in
CCS certification is preferred
Must reside in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, or Oklahoma if
homebound
