Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lead Nodal Analyst -
Transmission.
Key Responsibilities
Become a subject matter expert in energy markets and nodal
modeling
Support the sales team with domain expertise and lead projects to
deliver energy market models using PLEXOS software
Create Proof of Concept studies and deliver technical presentations
to prospective clients
Required Qualifications
3-4 years of experience in energy markets with a strong
understanding of energy economics and market fundamentals
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Economics, Operations
Research, or a related field
Experience with energy market supply and demand modeling via
optimization/unit commitment
Knowledge of electricity markets, nodal pricing, and congestion
analysis
Familiarity with commercial modeling tools such as PLEXOS, PROMOD,
or Aurora
